So after 6 days of nursing my sick husband, he collapsed today and I had to call 911.  Of course he was on the third floor, and he had to be carried down all those stairs.  The EMS and Fire Service people were so kind and helpful and professional.  Then we spent the best part of the day in Emerg.  Finally this evening we were sent home with double the antibiotics and a promise that once they worked he should be feeling a lot better.  Somehow I feel I have heard this before, but perhaps this time it will turn out to be true.  I am so tired, I keep typing words backwards.  It would be fantastic to get an unbroken night of sleep...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
